Blaze Patmore Obituary

Blaze Patmore passed away July 11, 2021 at Hilltop Veterinary Services in Lamar, Ind.
He was born March 18, 2013. He was found at Walmart on a freezing cold day by Lisa's daughter, Brandi. She brought him home and he became part of the family.
He was the faithful companion to Bob and Lisa Patmore. Blaze was one of a kind. He was the most unique dog. He never met a stranger and always wanted to be the center of attention. He loved his walks at Vastwood with Bob and his brother Kobe. He was Bob's best friend for sure. Blaze probably was once a human, he seemed to understand everything that was said to him. If he didn't want to do something, it wasn't going to happen without an argument. Blaze and Kobe enjoyed their lazy days laying on the back porch while Bob and Lisa were at work. Blaze especially enjoyed the fall and getting to play in the leaves. He loved kids, and was always very gentle with them.
He was a fierce protector of his family. He looked forward to every evening getting his rawhide chew and then stealing Kobe's. He just really enjoyed life. He became sick suddenly and was diagnosed with liver cancer. He fought hard but it eventually won.
He is survived by his loving owners, Bob and Lisa Patmore and brother Kobe Wayne. Also surviving him are Brandi Nance & family, Derick Woodfield & family, Ryan Patmore & family and Zach Patmore & family.
To say that he will be missed is an understatement. He was cremated and returned to his owners to always be with them.
