You are in our prayers and thoughts today as you bury your mother and our aunt. She was such a sweet aunt. My last image of her was with her baby doll in the nursing home. I will never forget her last conversation with me when she made me a coffee cake. She said, "I made this so you wouldn't continue to weenie whine." or something close to that. I didn't mind weenie whining because it got me one of her coffee cakes. A good thing about her having dementia was that she didn't have to look at the world the way a lot of people do. She always had that smile as she loved on her baby doll. Know that you are loved and thought about today.
Love, Jim and Gwen
P.S. I did this twice because I didn't see it in the memory book. Words may not be exactly the same, but the thought are. God bless.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you bury your sweet mother and our sweet aunt.
She was a very wonderful aunt, and I will never forget the last coffee cake she made for me. She said, " I figured you wouldn't quit being a weenie whiney until I made it. " It made me think about complaining. I still weenie whine, but it gets me what I want. lol. I know my last image of her was in the nursing home with her baby doll, but that isn't a bad thing. With her mind in the condition it was, we can rationalize that her thoughts more than likely didn't have to dwell on the bad in life like some do when they have to face death. At least, she now rests in the arms of Jesus. What a great model to pattern our lives after. Take care and know that we love you.
