Kevin Morge Obituary

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kevin Allan Morge, 48, passed away of natural causes, Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at his home in Louisville. He was born in Brazil, on Aug. 3, 1968, to David and Barbara Morge. Kevin graduated from Tell City High School in 1987, and served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a hydraulic specialist at Industrial Hydraulics in Indianapolis. Kevin was an active member of the Veterans Peer Support Program, and was working to become a Peer Support Specialist. Kevin loved cooking, playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Darrel Jenks and David Morge.
Survivors include his parents, David and Barbara Morge of Boonville; maternal grandparents: Fred and Opal Whitkanack of Brazil; paternal Grandmother: Rebecca Morge of Pharr, Texas; sisters, Amy (Brett) Lillich of Newburgh, Jennifer (Carey) Postin of Tennyson, uncle, Eugene (Nancy) Jenks of Brazil; aunts, Sharon (Dennis) Stewart of Terre Haute, Laurie (Don) Byrley of Buford, Ga.; Susan (Dale) VanFossen of Grandbury, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 23, at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Rick Koch officiating and a private burial to follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Depression and Bi-Polar Support Alliance (55 E.
