Mason Bryant Obituary

Mason W. 'Bud' Bryant, 76, passed away at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Spencer County May 2, 1936, to Mason Samuel and Juanita (Sergent) Bryant, who preceded him in death.ÊAlso preceding him in death was a sister, Judy Seavers.
Mason was married June 25, 1983, to Mildred 'Millie' (Blunk) Brinksneader. He was a heavy-equipment operator for Local Union 181 and was the owner and operator of Bud's Antiques in Gentryville.ÊHe enjoyed being with his family, antiques and his dog, Sadie.
Surviving are his wife, Millie Bryant of Tell City; his children, Mason Daniel, Kenny and Greg Bryant, all of Huntingburg, Kim Bryant of West Virginia and Julie (Tony) Thomas and Sonia (Ed) Ress, all of Tell City; his sisters, Wanda Kuhn of Jasper and Betty Jo (Tom) Wilkerson of Dale; a brother, Mick (Shirley) Bryant of Sealvin and grandchildren Corrina, Cameron and Jeremy Bryant, Colton and Luke Thomas and Josalyn Ress.
The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Rogan and his staff, and the staff of Perry County Memorial Hospital and its oncology department for all of their care.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.ÊThe Rev. Bill Reid officiated.ÊBurial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Troy United Methodist Church.
