Judy May Obituary
She was born on April 13, 1945 in Lancaster, Ohio to Edwin R. Lane and Frances B. Anders Lane Calvert.
Judy was a devoted member of the Lancaster Community of Christ Church. She had a strong faith in God, and believed in always giving and helping others. She was a Scout Leader and Den Mother. She worked many years for Lucent Technologies. Judy was the true definition of selfless. She had a loud and infectious laugh that filled the room with love wherever she went. She was the biggest supporter for all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed the farm, country music, craft shows, reading the newspaper, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James Leo May; children, Lynne (Dennis) Forgrave, Rob (Kaye) Fouch, Christy (Phil) Cross and Jennifer (Derrek Fulk) May; grandchildren, Stephanie, Adrienne, Emily, Zach, Mitchell, Lydie, Denae, Jarrett, Chad and Jada; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Mark (Susan) Lane, brother-in-law, Greg (Kim) Huffman, and sister-in-law, Rose Leckrone.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Paul Calvert, sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Steve) Warthman; and sister, Cindy Huffman.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 at Halteman Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at noon prior to the funeral and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.
