Robert Gable Obituary
Robert "Bob" Anthony Gable, aged 95 of New Lexington, Ohio passed away at the Morrison House on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Born June 18, 1930, in New Lexington, Ohio he was the son of the late Francis Joseph and Coletta (Noll) Gabele. He graduated from St. Charles Preparatory School in 1948.
Bob was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, serving as a radio repairman. Following his services, he returned to new Lexington where he worked as a painter, then at Lempco and finally working for Bryant as a plant engineer until his retirement in 1992. A lifelong Catholic, Bob was member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1065, New Lexington American Legion, served o the Honor Guard and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where he spent many years on the Parish Council.
Bob loved to tinker and fix things, but his number on love was his wife, Adelaide (Nash) Gable, who he married on June 19,1954. The two built their life together for 71 years, raising 5 boys and helping w Robert Gable
