Russell Gauthier Obituary
September 13, 1953 - April 16, 2024
Russ Gauthier, celebrated musician and beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at his home on April 16, 2024, from a protracted lung illness. He was 73 years old. Russ was survived by his wife Linda, son Kellen and granddaughters Sapphira and Charlotte. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Providence Hospice or MusiCares.

I used to see Rusty playing in Marin County with his band, something like The Happy Valley String Quartet. I drew a poster or two for the band. I then ran into him in Portland Oregon when he was playing with NRPS - we briefly chatted. For some reason I decided to look him up today to discover his passing. Condolences and love to his family - he was a shining individual!
