Eugene Petrovich Obituary

Eugene J. Petrovich, 77, of Blandon, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed into glory on May 30, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Dolores J. (Repko) Petrovich.
He was born in Mt. Carmel on Dec. 26, 1935 the son of the late Charles and Antoinette (Kratorvich) Petrovich.
Gene was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church Kutztown.
He had been employed by Lucent Technology, AT&T and Western Electric, Reading for 37 years retiring in 1994.
Gene was a poet, musician, woodcrafter and language enthusiast. He was an advid reader with one million pages read.
Survived by his wife Dolores and their two sons Stephen C. Petrovich and his wife Ruth Petrovich of Rochester, N.Y. and Mark E. Petrovich and his wife Annmarie of Baltimore, Md. Also five grandchildren Mark, Beth, Jessica, Jason and Marie. Other survivors include a brother Martin Petrovich of Prescott Valley, Ariz. and a sister Rosemarie (Petrovich) Sullivan of Mt. Carmel. Gene was preceded in death by his brothers Steve Petrovich and Bernard Petrovich.
Eugene received forgiveness and put his trust in Jesus redeeming work on the cross.
Services were Saturday June 1, at 11 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Online condolences can be made at www.MaeStumpFuneralHome.com.
