Randolph Trach Obituary

Randolph ‘Randy’ Trach, 93, of Royersford, PA passed away peacefully on September 26, 2018 at home. He was born October 1, 1924 in Moorestown, PA, the last of eleven children born to the late Sevilla (Beers) and Frank H. Trach. A World War II veteran, Randy served in the Army spending time in Japan with the Occupation Army. When he returned stateside from Japan in 1946, with the help of the GI Bill, he enrolled at Temple University and completed his BA in PreLaw and an MBA in Finance. It was at Temple where he met, and then married, Beatrice ‘Bea’ Capuzzi in 1951. Randy and Bea were married for 53 years until Bea’s passing in 2004. Randy worked for his father-in-law and the Pennsylvania Railroad before joining Moore Business Forms, Inc. (now Donnelly) in 1954, where he had a successful career in sales for 37 years. Randy and Bea enjoyed traveling and, after his retirement, spent their winters in Florida and South Padre Island, TX until finally settling on their favorite winter retreat in Myrtle Beach, SC. He enjoyed tennis, skiing and playing bridge until his later years, when his hobbies became crossword puzzles, reading, sitting on his front porches and telling us stories :-). In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bea, and his ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his four children - Lee Iacovitti (Joe), Linda Trach, Mark Trach (Kelly) and Richard Trach (Diana); his eight grandchildren – Michelle Sands (Shaun), Kristin DiPippo, Christopher Riggins, Melissa Hathaway (James), Kyle Geary, James Trach, Daniel Trach and Josh Trach; his five great-grandchildren – Alex Geary, Zachary Sands, Dylan Sands, Addison DiPippo and Logan Hathaway and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life with his family will be held later this month as he donated his body to the Humanity Gifts Registry. We do want to thank everyone who has reached out to us already with thoughts and prayers.

I remember Mr.and Mrs. Trach as they were part of the social group of the 60's, 70's 80's of my parents Karl and Connie Poley. Back in the day when everyone knew everyone in Collegeville/Trappe.
