Amanda Ferdinand Obituary

Amanda Ferdinand VIRGINIA BEACH - Amanda B. Ferdinand, 42, entered into eternal peace on Nov. 11, 2009. A native New Yorker, she was the daughter of the late Richard Ferdinand and Jose Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Maurice Ferdinand; two brothers, four sisters, five nephews, five nieces, one grandnephew, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Riddick Funeral Service Monday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon with a memorial service to be held at noon. Memorial contributions may be made to Sheron Weeks Wiggins, 1013 Honeycutt Way, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I only knew you and your mom a short time while working at Food Lion, but know that she loved you dearly and she fought a couragious battle. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
