Barbara Ann Enfield

1940 - 2020

Born in Ivor, VA in 1940, Barbara Ann Bryant Enfield died December 28, 2020 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Midlothian, VA. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 55 years, Jerry Allen Enfield in 2014. She was a member of Ivor Methodist Church, an early member of the Medical College of Virginia Volunteer Auxiliary, and the Danish Club of Central Virginia. She enjoyed many cruises and had a passion for travel, especially her trips to Norway and Denmark. She also loved to sew, needlepoint and cross-stitch. Barbara worked at The Computer Software Company by Jerry's side. She developed and planned the International Customer Conferences, where she coordinated and hosted the TCSC's Board of Directors weekend getaway each year. After Jerry sold TCSC, Barbara started Horizon Holidays, Inc. and together, with other travel industry professionals, they formed the Travel Club of Richmond where she served as Chairman. Barbara is survived by her children Kathleen Enfield Jerow, Susanne Enfield Currie, and Kimberly Enfield Lazaravich; grandchildren Elizabeth Shelby Jerow Thomas (Sean), Sara Corrine Currie, Michelle Ann Jerow, Brittney Ashley Currie, Christena Nicole Jerow. Memorial service is to be held at a later date, and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to the organization of personal choice in honor of Barbara A.
