Barbara Flautt Obituary
Virginia Beach - On this day, April 17, 2014, my beloved bride Barbara departed this life to be with our Lord in heaven. She was welcomed into heaven by family and friends who predeceased her. It was Barbara's wish that we not mourn her loss but that we celebrate her life. Barbara was one of those people who never met a stranger endearing herself to all. She was truly my best friend and the love of my life. She blessed me with six extraordinary children: Deborah Hannah (Bob), Karen Ludwig (Steve), Susan Baim (Julian), Cynthia Dozier (Earl), Warren Flautt Jr. (Michele), and Jennifer Hernandez (Tony) who have given us 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Barbara will be sorely missed.
Barbara was born in Greenville, North Carolina to Annie Olivia Stocks and James Orman Stocks who are deceased. She was the only girl of six children: Linwood, Douglas, Bobby Dan, and Gerald Stocks all deceased. Her last surviving brother is James O. Stocks Jr.
Barbara's celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Family and friends will join together at Old Donation Episcopal Church located at 4449 North Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach where Barbara was a faithful member of the congregation. The family requests that donations be made to Old Donation Episcopal Church in lieu of flowers.

To Warren and family;
Our hearts are sad to now live without Barbara but happy that she suffers no more. Even in the doctor's office where we met so often, she brought smiles to our faces and always gave encouragement for the difficulties we were facing. We will forever love and miss her too!
