Bernadette Alvich Obituary

Bernadette M. (Charette) Alvich, 78, passed away on June 1st, 2022, at home. She was born in Fort Kent, Maine on April 6, 1944 daughter of the late Phydime and Edwidge (Pelletier) Charette. She leaves behind a daughter Laurie Deschaine and a son Peter Alvich and his wife Kylene, and three grandchildren, Hunter, Anthony and Aidan, whom she adored. She was predeceased by her brother, Claude Charette and is survived by her two remaining siblings, her brother, Paul Charette of North Carolina and her sister, Odette Carr and spouse Everett of Newburyport, MA. She worked over 35+ years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. She moved to Chesapeake, VA once she retired to spend time with her grandchildren. Our mother was a hard worker, she liked to keep busy, she enjoyed sitting on the outdoor swing, watching and feeding the birds and chipmunks, spoiling and playing with her grandchildren. She was kind, generous and a loving part of our family and will be deeply missed. www.omanfh.com

Peter and Kylene, I was saddened to hear about Peter's mother. I can't remember if I met her or not when we worked together to find your first home. She sounded like a wonderful mother and grandmother, and I know you will miss her.
