Bobby Riddick Obituary
Norfolk - Bobby L. Riddick Sr. 66, passed away May 15, 2012. Born in Norfolk, VA to the late Nathaniel and Lucy Riddick. He served as a Merchant Seaman for 39 years from which he retired. He was a deacon at Holy Temple Evangelical Christian Church. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of 38 years, Minister Brenda L. Riddick; 2 sons; 4 daughters; 9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St., Norfolk, VA. A wake service will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Granby St. chapel.

I had the pleasure of working with Bobby in the SIU. He was a top notch bosun and seaman.
I am sorry he did not get to fully enjoy his retirement after so many years of hard work. He will truly be missed.
