Brian C. Gordon

Portsmouth - Brian Christopher Gordon, 56, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. He was born in Altoona, PA to the late Thomas B. Gordon II and Laura Jean Gordon. He was a U.S. Army veteran, devoted Steelers fan, loving husband, friend and "the best dad ever".

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Karen M. Gordon; son, Korbin James Gordon; Godson's Max Turner (Katie) and Craig Sellers; seven sisters, five brothers and four grandchildren.

He leaves us with a legacy of love, laughter and amazing memories.

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, October 15, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Chaplain J. Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Towne Bank Attn: Brian C. Gordon Memorial Fund at 5806 Harbor View Blvd. Suite 100 Suffolk, VA 23435.

I still think of Brian often. I miss all of the good times and laughter we shared for so many years. I pray that Karen and family are doing well and know that you have remained in my thoughts as well.

To Karen and all of Brian's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. For the many years we enjoyed race days and race weekends, Brian always helped make them all very memorable. It was an honor to call him a good friend. Rest In Peace my brother.
