Brian Parham Obituary

Brian Wayne "Dick" Parham, Sr., 86, passed away on January 31, 2023. Brian was born in Williamston, North Carolina to the late James Hamilton and Lola Edwards Parham. Brian was predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife, Marie T. Parham, and his sister, Brenda Bunting. Dick owned Parham Construction Company and was an extremely gifted carpenter. His talents didn't end with woodworking; his skill on the golf course was worthy of numerous "hole in one" certificates. As an avid golfer, Dick was a long-time member of Bow Creek Golf Course in Virginia Beach.

His loving family survives him, his siblings, Elizabeth P. Clay of Rocky Mount, NC, James H. Parham of Kinston, NC, and Robert W. Parham of Summerville, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest privately beside his wife in Rosewood Memorial Park, with a small memorial to be held this summer. Please visit www.grahamfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence to the family.

I just learned, via a cousin, that Dick passed away last year. I am a niece of Marie Parham, and I remember from many years ago how delightful a man Dick was. May his descendants know that he was loved.
