Carol Fowler Obituary
She retired from Ear, Nose & Throat in Norfolk and then Gardner Electric Co. in Norfolk. She worked hard and loved hard.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Michonski (Jack), her son, Ty Holland, her grandchildren Ashley Michonski and Austin Michonski; step-grandchildren Scott Buckman and Victoria Buckman; Step-Sons, Randy Fowler (Emily), Ron Fowler, Craig Fowler (Amy); step-granddaughters Chelsea, Kiah and Tara Fowler; and her brother George Gardner and his children. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 31 years, John Fowler.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 28th at 3:00pm with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 4:00pm at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 2002 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:00am at Faison Cemetery in Faison, NC.
Memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Community Church, P.O. Box 9187, Chesapeake, VA, 23321. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.

Jenny and Ty, my heart goes out to you and your whole family. Your Mom was a Mom to me for so many years growing up. I spent more time at your house than I did at my own back in the day. So many fond memories that I will always treasure. She was a very special lady with a heart of gold. May she rest in peace. Love & Hugs to both of you!
