Catherine Massie Obituary
Catherine H. Massie NORFOLK - Catherine H. Massie, 91, went to be with the Lord Dec. 17, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Massie and eight siblings. Catherine was a member of Gateway Free Will Baptist Church. She was a very simple lady and it didn't take much to please her. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by two children, Charles Massie and wife Melanie of Suffolk and Geraldine Yow and husband Dave of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Amanda Kayuha, Donnie Murden, Charles E. Massie Jr., Ryan M. Massie and Melissa Dawn Cox; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Gateway Free Will Baptist Church, 5473 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, with Pastors Karl Sexton and Dale Burden officiating. Condolences may be made to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
