Cecil Perry Obituary
Left to cherish his memory in Cecil's words are "5 split tails" (daughters) Kim Martin (Steve), Shirley Coakley, Shannon Schrader (Robert), Kelly Wilkins, and Shelly Long. Cecil is also survived by his sister-in-law, Patty Perry, niece, Sherry Perry and nephews, Patrick Perry and George Long, grandchildren Perry Schrader, CiCi and Taylor Casey, Dana and Casey Martin, and one great grandchild, Bodhin S. Martin.
Cecil, a retired Senior Master Sergeant served 22.5 honorable years in the USAF. He was a Vietnam Vet and the Crew Chief for Air Force One under President Lyndon B. Johnson.
Upon retiring from his military career, Cecil joined the Beach Ford family and was a dedicated employee for 46 years from 1973-2019. He was an exemplary employee whose work ethics were based on compassion, honesty, and sincerity. These qualities resulted in lifelong customers and accolades for this extraordinary man.
Cecil loved his family and was an adoring grandfather known as "BoBo". He was a great Dad, mentor, true friend and real gentleman, an avid golfer and fond of "Tuni Time" aka Martinis. He was loved and respected by many and will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 21, 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel is assisting the family with services Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com

Prayers for the family. I worked with Cecil for several years at Beach Ford and just loved him and the stories he would tell. He was such a sweet man and he loved his family so much. He was such a staple at work and I know he will be missed.

Loved Cecil. Played a number of rounds of golf with Cecil and colleague Jim Baxter in the mid 1980's. We played a number of times at the Golden Horseshoe in Williamsburg. The only problem is that Cecil had a phobia of traveling thru the Hampton Bridge Tunnel. Because of that we would have to take the long way to Williamsburg "over" the bridges in Norfolk adding an additional 30 minutes to our trip. Been in Florida for the last 35 years and only briefly got back to play some golf in the early 90's. What a great man. Loved to have Cecil on my team as we played foursomes. Cecil was always down the middle and let me rip it. RIP brother...
