Charles McClendon Obituary
Norfolk - Charles William "Chuck" McClendon, 57, passed away on April 15, 2016.
Born in Norfolk, VA, he was a Master Door Mechanic for Door Engineering. He was a former volunteer for the Chesapeake Fire Department Station #3.
Left to cherish his memory: his daughter, Mandy McClendon; son, Robert McClendon and wife Brittany; parents, Jimmy and Frances McClendon; sister, Debbie Barefoot and husband Mike; brother, Bob McClendon; grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Mae; a niece and three nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel on Monday, April 18, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at:

I remember Chuck from Indian River High School. He was a sweet, funny guy with a permanent smile on his face and a great dance partner. Our loss is Heaven's gain. May God bless the McClendon family and bring you peace.
