Charles Speller Obituary
Portsmouth - Charles Speller, 71, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Charles was a retiree of the International Longshoreman Association, Local 1248. Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Earlene Painter Speller; a daughter, Regina Peele; sons, Michael Speller, Keith Wright and Bryan Wright; brother, Howard Speller; sisters, Shirley Speller Shortt and Pearl Jones; nephew, Richard Speller and a host of other relatives and friends.
A worship celebration will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 12 noon at First Calvary Baptist Church, 813 Henry Street, Norfolk, VA, Rev. Charles M. Springs Jr. officiating. A wake service will be held, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk.
