Chriss Morgan Obituary

Chriss Morgan NORFOLK - Chriss "Chris" Morgan, 45, of the 700 block of Easy St., passed away June 10, 2009. She was a native of North Carolina. Chriss was predeceased by her mother, Neta Morgan. Chriss leaves to cherish her memory one son, Rico Dion Morgan; her father, Albert Morgan; four sisters, Katie Morgan, Elaine Graves, Vonzer Morgan and Oleta Boyd; two brothers, George and Raven Morgan; grandmother, Thelma Morgan; one granddaughter, Cheytorria Carol; two aunts, Mrs. Pauline Gardner and Mrs. Perry James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral will be Tuesday, June 16, at noon in Bethlehem Church of Christ, 939 Marietta Ave., Norfolk, with the Rev. Rue E. Porter presiding. Interment will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Monday, June 15, from 2 to 8 p.m. in Beach Funeral Services Inc., 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. You may offer condolences to the family online at www.beachfuneralservices.com. I'm a nurse at Norfolk General who worked with Chriss many years ago but still remember her with great fondness.She will suffer no more because she's in a much better place than this.
