Clifton Spencer Obituary

Clifton A. Spencer NORFOLK - Clifton Antonie "Big Boy" Spencer, 35, of the 6600 block of Stoney Point South, passed away April 30, 2009, at Sentara Leigh Hospital. He was born March 4, 1974, in Norfolk. He was educated in Norfolk public schools and was employed with Baker Roofing Co. as a laborer. He is survived by two daughters, Diamond Hall and Sharika Spencer; his mother, Jeanette Lyles (Wallace); his father, Clifton Coleman; one brother, Wayne Spencer; grandmother, Dolly Fredrick; grandfather, Arthur Spencer; great-grandmother, Annie Mae White; four aunts, Marsha Rovinson, Barbara Spencer, Carol Spencer and Brenda Green (Christopher); three uncles, Ron Spencer, Larry Coleman and Everette Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Hope COGIC, 3232 Brest Ave. Pastor Calvin A. Durham will officiate. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 6624 Stoney Point South one hour prior to the service for the procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel, is in charge.
