My condolences to Fluff's family, I like many young engineers it seems learned a lot from Fluffy as we were fresh out of college.. He was always patient and generous with his knowledge.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with "Fluffy" from our 1979-1983 (X-38 apprenticeship) at NNSY. As an Honor Roll Apprentice and an excellent mechanic, he was dedicated to any job assigned to him. May God bless him and give comfort to his family during this difficult time.

I'm truly grateful of the opportunity to have worked with Fluff in Code 266 at NNSY. When I first met Fluff, I was right out of college with no "deckplate" experience. But Fluff changed all that after working with him on the same project. Fluff unselfishly took the time to help me work on the waterfront. The lessons he taught me and the dedication he had for his work were invaluable traits that has helped me be the person I am today. You will truly be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend.

I am heartbroken to hear of Fluff's passing. I learned a lot from Fluff here at NNSY. Whenever I had a question he always had an answer. He was a fine man and a true example at NNSY on what a professional can & should be.

I will never forget the countless times early in my career that Fluff took time to mentor, teach, and help me. Even if it wasn't anything that his Code was covering, he always gave back to Shop 38 where the one thing I learned about him was his total loyalty and dedication to our shop and trade. I wouldn't be at the level I am today if it wasn't for his wise guidance and advice. Cheers to you Fluff, I will truely miss, but never forget you. Reast in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family of "Fluffy" as I used to call him. He will surely be missed. He was one of my favorite Engineers whom I worked with on the waterfront at NNSY and Charleston's Weapon Sta. in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He was a gem of a person who was a hands on guy who didn't mind getting in the trenches when I needed an extra hand. He'd work right with me even though he was the Engineer and I was the mechanic and I didn't have a work mate. I am so sorry to hear now that he's gone on to Glory to be with the Lord. But I'm glad he no longer has to suffer. Jesus will take very good care of him in eternity.
