David Powers Obituary


David W. Powers NORFOLK - David Weller Powers, 51, passed away April 9, 2008. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. David was the youngest son of the late Dorothy and Albert Powers Sr. He was the owner of Scott Rug Cleaners and was a member of the HOG Club, Tidewater Virginia Chapter. He is survived by his daughter, Angelique Kelley and her husband Terry; three grandchildren, Portia, Tyree and Kwalon, all of Chesapeake; four sisters, Catherine Valle, Margaret Bryant, Evelyn Powers and Alice Powers; his brother, Albert Powers Jr.; his best friend and caregiver, Bill Kane; and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, at 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 367, 5201 Kennebeck Ave., Norfolk. Casual dress is requested. "If you got 'em ride 'em." Cremation & Funeral Services of Tidewater is handling arrangements. You may send the family a condolence at www.candfservices.com.
