David Wasserman Obituary

Durham, NC â€" David Earl Wasserman passed away suddenly on January 22, 2023 in Cary, North Carolina. He was predeceased by his father Louis Leslie Wasserman, Jr and his mother Joanne Hoggard Wasserman. He is survived by his sister Amy Wasserman Upton, his Uncle Jesse Wasserman and Aunt Celeste, his Aunt Susan Lynch and cousins, nieces, nephews, a great nephew and two great nieces.

A memorial service will be held at Virginia Beach Methodist Church on March 6, 2023 at 12:30pm.

Hey Amy, if you see this and can reach out to me at the email address I left. Not sure if David has mentioned me to you or not. I work a security patrol in the area of Durham were David hung out. He and I emailed each other weekly, and when I hadn't heard from him or seen his car I got worried. It wasn't until today I found out he passed away. David had a huge heart, and is one of the nicest people I've met. I hadn't really noticed his health declining , except for weight loss, but he didn't eat alot anyway. If you could reach out to me I'd appreciate it. Name is Tim.
