I remember Dexter to be a great person. My former wife Svea Hunt was a teacher at Granby when Fat Daddy played for the Comets, along with Silk Darby, Doc White, Scooter Hennigan, and other great players. Svea was a sponsor for the cheerleaders and made uniforms for them. We befriended Dexter and he spent time at our home in Colonial Place. Recruiters from colleges came to our house "looking for" Dexter. He was a bright guy with a big smile and some wonderful basketball skills. I wish his family and friends the very best of only good memories. The photo is of Dexter and me about to take a flight in Chesapeake. i am sorry to learn he is gone. The games were great fun. Rest in Peace, Dexter

Dexter reid was a true warrior, and teammate. We were both on the best all-tidewater star five team ever, in 1976 from granby high school. I will always remember him. Power and strength be with the family.
