Dianne Kay Obituary

February 1, 1938 - November 3, 2022, Dianne Kay of Bethesda, MD. Born in Norfolk, VA, wife of Alan I. Kay. Dianne and Alan oversaw the construction of the Children's Inn, a 59-room facility on the National Institute of Health's campus that provides free housing for sick children and their families over long periods and raised money for The Inn. They both served as the chairmen of the American Cancer Society Ball for six years. Dianne also served on the board of George Mason University and served on the board of Camp Fantastic for terminally ill children.

She is beloved by children, Michael, Donna and husband Bruce, and Bryan; grandchildren, Lauren and husband Adam, Devin and wife Marisa, Laney and husband Jared, Brandon, Justin, Hannah, and Peri, and grandchildren by marriage, Brad and Dani; and great grandchildren, Harper, Hudson, Alexis, and Aria.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 10 a.m. at Washington Hebrew followed by burial at King David Cemetery. Shiva will be held at Woodmont Country Club on Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m.
