Elizabeth Applewhite Obituary
Mrs. Applewhite was preceded in death by her loving father, Allen Ellery Morris; dearest mother, Ann Holleran Morris; her beloved sister, Catherine M. Morris; and her half-brother, Robert E. Morris. She is survived by her husband, John S. Applewhite of Richmond, Va.; her beloved children, Ellery R. Applewhite, Thomas W. Applewhite and E. Caslin Applewhite; as well as her sisters, Ruth A. Morris, Mary A. Morris, Charlotte I. Morris, Patricia M. Watts; her brother, Edward T. Morris; and 23 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for extended friends and love ones will be announced at a later date.

Eli was such a beloved colleague and one of those people who truly has made a positive impact on the world just by being in it. She always looked amazing with such bright colored jackets and scarves and that warm smile and calm voice - seeing her was one of the highlights of my Richmond trips when we worked together. She shared a birthday with our eldest son and when we happened to be in Milwaukee during that time, she always allowed him to share a bit of the spotlight with her. John, Ellery and the rest of her family, please know that you are in our thoughts.
