Evalyn K. Rule PORTSMOUTH - Evalyn Kerby Rule, 89, passed away Sept. 3, 2008, in Roanoke, Va. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum by Dr. George L. Oehler. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to James A. Rule Sr. Engineering Scholarship Fund, Virginia Tech Foundation, c/o Bob Bailey, regional director of Major Gifts, VPI & SU, University Development (0336), Blacksburg, VA 24061 or to First Presbyterian Church, 515 Court St., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Loving Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.
