Forbes Braithwaite Obituary
Virginia Beach - Forbes Kellogg Braithwaite, 69, passed away June 25, 2014 in his home.
Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Millard Forbes "Babe" Braithwaite and Olive Hankin Braithwaite. He was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam and was retired from International Longshoreman's Association Local 1970. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Virginia Beach Lodge No. 274, and Khedive Shrine Temple.
Left to cherish Forbes's memory are his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Braithwaite; daughter, Ashley K. Davis and husband Jay; 3 granddaughters, Hunter, Sydney and Bailey Davis; step-son, Phillip E. McAdams and wife Cindy; half-brother, Daniel H. Proulx, all of Virginia Beach and 2 German shepherds, Elle and Abby.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach S.P.C.A. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com

Betty,
Jimmy and I are so sorry to hear of Forbes passing. My memories go way back to when he and Jay just about drove me crazy. Nothing like two "little brothers" to pester you until you wanted to cry. It seems unbelievable that they are both gone. He will be missed.
