Frederick Bounds Obituary

Frederick A. Bounds NORFOLK - Frederick A. "Rick" Bounds, 61, was born Nov. 4, 1948 to Frederick A. Bounds Jr. and the late Mary White Bounds and passed away Sept. 8, 2010. He is survived by his wife Ethel "Mae" Bounds; two daughters, Mrs. Shelley Sheppard and Mrs. Laura Turvey; two stepchildren, Mrs. Susan Bush and Arthur Felger Jr. He is also survived by three brothers, Bill Bounds, David Bounds and John Bounds and one sister, Anne Marie Woodley. He also leaves behind one grandchild, six stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren. He was a code 225 Norfolk Naval Shipyard employee of 24 years and a lifelong resident of Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Saturday, Sept. 18, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with a reception to follow at 5445 Silbert Road, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
