Dear Grace and the Dragas Family,
I have so many fond memories of George and can't say enough of his and your and the families commitment to the Hampton Roads community. He is a special person. Devoted to family, his faith and community. I appreciate our professional involvements but also our friendship. George, I love your professional insights over many years but also the few time we sailed together. A love we shared. May we sail together again in our next life.
Looking forward to seeing that great smile again1

Dear Helen and Dragus Family,
I am so very sorry about your loss of your dear father. I did not get to meet him, but he truly left a legacy as a businessman, a civic leader, and a philanthropist in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and the entire Region. Please accept my sincere sympathy for you and your entire family. We know that your father is now resting in heaven with his Heavenly Father. I pray that God will continue to bless you and give you strength during this difficult time. Please feel free to call if I can assist in any other way.
Sincerely,
Chesapeake Councilwoman Dr. Ella P. Ward

Mr. Dragas was a great and one of a kind man. I got the opportunity to take care of him and got to know him close to his final moment and I wouldn't trade it for anything. He will really be missed.

Grace, may God be with you and your family. I remember well the first day I saw George on campus at V.P.I. The motto for Va Tech is Ut Prosim, that we may serve. George epitomized the spirit of that motto. He leaves a big footprint. Ralph and Donna
