Helen Wells Crawford NORFOLK - Helen Wells Crawford, 82, died Jan. 21, 2010. She was born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., the daughter of George and Annie Wells. She is survived by two daughters, Cecelia Taylor and Brenda Hutton and husband Gary and one son, Dennis Crawford; grandchildren, Pamela Hall and husband David, Stephen Taylor II, Dawn Brickhouse and husband Darrell, Gary Hutton II; great-grandchildren, Lyssa Hall, Kyle Hall, Farrah Taylor; sisters, Ollie Bennett and Edna Miles; brother, Gaius Wells and wife Hazel; brother -in-law, Louis Crawford and wife Billie; sister-in-law, Katie Crawford; five nieces, four nephews; and many loving relatives. A memorial service will be held at Bethel Praise & Worship Center, 2695 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23513 on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to www.cbn.com, Operation Blessing, 977 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23463. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
