Henry Adams Obituary

Henry W. Adams Jr.
Virginia Beach - Henry Walton Adams Jr., of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on March 25, 2013 at age 96. He was married in 1945 for 40 years to Theresa Kathleen Pereira. She proceeded him in death 28 years ago. They had 5 children together. He is survived by Theresa, Victorine (Vicky) , Henry Walton III, James Edmond, and Charles William. His youngest daughter Louise Marie Jones preceded him in death. Henry and his wife Theresa had 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. He remarried in 1987 for 19 years to Virginia Phyllis Gabriel (Nee Bumpus). They resided in Virginia Beach. She preceded him in death 7 years ago. Henry was a United States Army veteran of WWII and served in Canada as a Technical Sergeant with Det. 136th AACS Sqdn. Kindley Field. He worked for the AT&T / Bell of Pennsylvania Telephone Company for a total of 45 years. Throughout his life Henry had a passion for family, Genealogy and Right Triangles. Friends may call at the Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St, Fairfax, VA on Friday, March 29, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Fairfax City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. www.salvationarmyusa.org
