Henry Umphlette Obituary
Suffolk - Henry Raby Umphlette, 95, of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Suffolk, VA passed away July 22, 2015. He was born in Gates County, NC to William Benjamin and Hortense Raby Umphlette. Raby was predeceased by sisters Lauristeen Casper and Mary Louise Rollison, and brothers Blackwell, B.C., Harry and Ben Umphlette. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Hilda Reely Umphlette. Raby is survived by his wife of 23 years, Martha Parker Umphlette; step-daughter, Cynthia Johnson of Raleigh, NC; step-son William Johnson (Debbie) of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Bettie Sue Rhea (Bobby) of Richmond, VA; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk, VA with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.

I did not know Mr. Umphlette but I did know his sister....if fact I am kin to her and I hope the family will get in touch with me....Been way to long in hearing from them.. Would love to share some memories again with family.... I hope they will hold on to the good times they shared with Mr. Umphlette
