Hilda Pollard Obituary
Chesapeake - Hilda Edwards Pollard, 74, of Chesapeake passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2016.
Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Ersula Edwards. Hilda was also predeceased by her husband Richard Lee Pollard, Sr. and son, Linton Furlough, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Richard Lee Pollard, Jr. (Mercedes), Deborah Lee Liverman (Russell), Marjorie Ann Brannan (Steve), Robert Houston Pollard (Eileen), Deborah Furlough Graham (Jeff) and William Lawrence Pollard (Lori); 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two brothers, Woodrow Edwards, Jr. (Betty) and Gerald Furlough.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Portlock United Methodist Church. The interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Oman Funeral Home.

I am so very happy I got to see Hilda about a week ago it was a very good visit and a surprise one when she came to my home. She told me she missed me and loved me and wanted me to come visit her. I promised her I will come to see her very soon I am very sad that I did not get that chance. She was my mother-in-law years ago and a wonderful mother-in-law at that. She will be greatly missed our heart and prayers go out to her family.
