Hope Dodson Obituary

Hope Modlin Dodson
Franklin - Hope Modlin Dodson, 74, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011. Born April 4, 1937 in Capron, she was a daughter of the late Perley E. Modlin and Minnie Sue Taylor Modlin. Hope graduated from Franklin High School, was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and was a switchboard operator for Verizon and Franklin Equipment Company. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth M. Rich, Grace M. Keech, Minnie M. Boone, and Evelyn M. Modlin and her brothers, Roland M. Modlin and Clayton H. "Dee" Modlin, which was her twin brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth D. Sackett and husband, David; grandchildren, U.S. Marine PFC Cory P. Sackett and Taylor Hope Sackett; sisters, Pearl M. Juel and Bernice M. Hasenei; grand-dog "Peanut"; a host of nieces, nephews and a bounty of wonderful girlfriends that she deeply cherished.
A funeral service will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends today (Sunday) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.

Pearl,
I don't know if you remember the Rollings family or not but I remember you girls coming to the house and painting my fingernails one time. Our family and yours, I believe, were very close. I remember Hope but I was a little girl and vaguely remember things going on at that time. My deepest sympathy to you and the family.
