Jason Goins Obituary
Chesapeake - Jason R. Goins, 32, formerly of Chesapeake, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013.
Born in Fullerton, CA, he was the son of Dennis R. Goins and wife Norma and Mary Jo Kozy. Jason was a 1998 graduate of Great Bridge High School. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and for all of the great times he shared with family and friends.
Including his parents, Jason is survived by his sister, Jessica Powell and husband Brant; a brother and best friend, Jason McFarlane; a nephew, Roman; a niece, Karis; his grandmother, Mildred Gamble as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 20, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chesapeake Humane Society, 123 N. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23320.

My heart tells me that Ethel and Ray are watching over Jason now,, along with Dad, Jean, Jimmy... We are thinking of you all everyday and I find it difficult to find the right words to express how very sad we are for your loss. He was a beautiful young man. All my love and prayers. God Bless

JR will truly be missed, he was a great friend with a big heart and a capacity to show love to everyone around him. Both my husband and I loved him dearly and will never forget all he has done for us. My prayers are and will continue to be with his family and friends.
