I loved the Bishop! many memories! 1980 March for Jesus! I broke bread with him at the land! He also loved people in my profession. (Police Officers). He is with the King! ps. I have his tapes of his songs he had written, and I still listened to them on occasion! 2024! 'He' 'Sweet Jesus Morning', and ' Had a talk with God'.

Bishop John led us into a personnal relationship with our Savior in the 70's and we had the privilege of serving him, Rock Church Family and particularly our Lord for over 25 years. As many have said, our lives were changed forever. He will be in our hearts and Sister Anne and all of his family will be in our prayers for as long as we live. We rejoice with all of his "family" in his home-going and heavenly reward.

I greive over the Godly Warrior's homegoing. I have spent many hours in prayer at Rock Church. He led many to the Lord. We need some of his passion for souls.

"Brother John" was one of the most profound individuals in my life. He looked into my eyes at the altar in July 1976, smiled and nodded and I knew I was looking into the eyes of a man of God and that I was going to be okay. I will miss him with all of my heart.

May the Lord bless and keep Sister Anne and Brother John's family as he has graduated. Bro. John was very much apart of the Owen Clan family who migrated from Hawaii to be apart of Rock Church back in the 70's. From the cradle to the grave we have all been touched by Bro. John. Love to you all!

Pastor John was definitely one of those rare individuals that truly had a heart for people and his heart will live on in the lives that he so richly blessed, including ours. We will never forget the prayer he and Sister Anne prayed over us at our wedding almost 12 years ago. Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

When I first moved to this area in 1981,a family from Rock Church(Va.B) invited me and my family to lunch after church. We later became members here in Franklin to the local Rock Church under Paster David Dillon. We express our sorrow at the lost of Bishop Gimenez.

I will truly miss Bishop Gimenez. He has been a true inspiration in my life as well as my family. He took time to acknowledge his members. He had a way of lifting you up when you were down. Having been a member of the church for 29 years, I am going to miss seeing his face. But I know and have comfort in the fact that he is with God now. Please continue to lift up the family and church as we move forward.

I have lost one of my best friends. His death is bitter-sweet. I know we'll miss him, but I know he is enjoying a healthy body and his many jeweled crown. John is at rest and in God's glory.
