Dear Ann -- Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your entire family.
We just learned of Admiral Sansone's passing -- a very sad day.
Grateful for his generous mentoring and engaging friendship, and for the impact his example had during and following our Navy career, he was a good man who will live on in our family's memory and prayers. God Bless. Sandi & Don Hempson

I apologize for my tardiness reaching out to pass on my condolences. I am sure you are proud of RADM Sansone's service to his country and family, and I know he is resting in peace.
I am curious, did he know my father, RADM James Forrest, SC, USN (Ret)? He retired in 1976 and served in many similar fields, and passed away in 2017. I am also a retired Navy Surface Warfare officer.

As a very young naval officer, RADM Sansone was a guiding influence and a wonderful example of strong, servant leadership. He was a North Star that always pointed in the right direction (and, I was honored when he and his wife attended our wedding on 1984!) My sincere condolences.
