I am just seeing this. Oddly, I dreamed of Mr. Wis last night so I went in search of his obit. Taught me Humanities at OFS. We could always hear him coming down the hall because he would jingle his keys. We knew when to get quiet! Lol

Please accept my condolences. Mr. Wis taught me American History and also Government at OFS, 1960 and 1961. He also was one of our class sponsors. Since I was a class officer, I had more contact with him than just in class. I will forever remember what he taught me. Even now during my grandchildren's comment on the "Civil War," I correct them as Mr. Wiz did me. It was a war between the North and South. He did not allow us to use "Civil War." He had a great impact on my live some 50 years ago. I will never forget him. He was one of the best. I pray God will give you comfort and peace during these difficult days. I had planned on attending the services, however, a doctor's appointment will probably prevent it. May God bless you.
