Joshua B. Smith

CHESAPEAKE - Joshua Blake Smith, 19, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was an extremely smart and talented business owner, opening Branch IT and Datacom at age 18. His hard work had paid off and he was about to buy his first home. Joshua did all sorts of work for people and anyone you ask would tell you how amazing he was. He loved his family, his friends, his dog and his WRX. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert L. Smith, Jr. and maternal grandmother Ginger "Ghe Ghe" Luper.

He is survived by his mother, Leslie Rivoir Augustino; his father, Christopher R. Smith; paternal grandmother, Sue "Minnie" Smith; maternal grandfather, James "Dan" Luper; and a sister, Rachael Anne Bentley.

Losing Josh has left a huge hole in so many hearts. We will forever love and remember him.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Dr Clarence T. Sloan, DM and Dr. Eva F Sloan, DD, DM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 - 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to request memorial donations in his honor to Liahona Academy, 1055 East Hwy. 9, Virgin, Utah 84779. This was Joshua's home for 2 1/2 years and they are still like family. We hope that these donations will help another boy in need.
