Joyce Gardner Obituary
Norfolk - 73, went to be with her Lord on September 19, 2016. She was a loving wife, mom, and grandmother who enjoyed attending church, spending time and talking with family and friends, gardening, listening to country and gospel music, and completing word search puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Holmes and Mildred Butler. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Ronald Gardner; her sons Tom and Lori Sutton, Chris and Sarah Gardner, and J.R. Sutton; 5 grandchildren Jerica, Kylie, Cole, Liam, and Aliana and one great grandchild, Maliah. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 21 from 6:30-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. Funeral service followed by a procession to Rosewood Memorial will be held at the same address Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10am.
