Joyce L. Vuckovich NORFOLK - Joyce L. "Joy" Vuckovich, 57, of Noble St., formerly of Johnstown/ Huntingdon, Pa., died Monday, May 24, 2010, at home. Born March 30, 1953 in Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Kathleen (Harrington) Shortt. She was formerly married to George Vuckovich of Huntingdon, Pa. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Shortt Jr., formerly of Harrisburg, Pa. Joy is survived by a twin sister, Janet Istvan and friend Joseph Fatter of Windber, Pa.; a brother, Roger Alan Shortt and friend Betsy Gruss of Norfolk; two daughters, April Speck and husband Shawn and Kelly Stevens and husband Guy, all of Huntingdon, Pa.; a son, Daniel Cobaugh and wife Rachel (Andrews) of Richmond, Va.; and grandchildren, Lucas and Hudson Speck, Danen, Hannah and Hailey Stevens, all of Huntingdon, Pa. She worked at Empire Machine/MANCON of Hampton Roads. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW of Huntingdon, Pa. Joy enjoyed Harley-Davidson riding with her friend Edward Frank Laurent of Norfolk. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
