Keith's friendship was one of those rare occurrences: a life long treasure. The fact that so many feel that way is a tribute to his character. Keith could see farther over the horizon of human endeavors, and deeper into the character of individuals than almost anyone. He left a lot of unfinished projects behind because his intellectual curiosity and deep commitment to human rights compelled him. He will be deeply missed.

Keith and I worked together for years in Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. He was a gorgeous bright light of inspiration to so many activists fighting for democracy and peace. He knew how to put everyone at ease, and build a sense of common aspirations. Thinking of his infectious laugh brings a smile to my lips, even today. My deepest condolences to the Jennings family. Keith was my brother. We got To know each other about 30 years ago when he had been invited to a progressive youth festival. Ever since, you visited France as often as possible, especially on July 4 to celebrate your birthday. You taught me so much about the peace and justice movement and history in the US. Thanks for everything. I miss you so much. We'll definitely carry on the struggle to make the world a more just and better place.
