Keith Safewright Obituary
Keith, a 1986 graduate of Kellam High school, was employed for many years as a brick mason.
Predeceased by his father Tommy Safewright and brother Jeffrey Safewright. Survivors include his loving mother, Sidney Ann Safewright of Virginia Beach, brother Donald Anderson (Eve) of Maryland, nephew and nieces Alex, Natalie and Rachel Anderson, and a host of family in Virginia, Tennessee and Ohio. Keith was also fortunate to have the Manuel Cheracles family in his life. Keith will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 12 at 2:00 PM by Keith's uncle, Rev. Ogden W. White III at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.

Sad to hear of Keith´s passing. I remember a fun loving guy with a tough exterior and tender heart. Would sacrifice himself and give what he had if a friend were in need. I smile when thinking of how much he loved music. I can still see him dancing and singing the lyrics of Van Halen songs.
I can see him doing the same right now in Heaven.

Keith was my dear buddy at Plaza Jr high school.
He was beloved by everyone and well
respected.
He influence so many young kids such as myself in a positive way with his humor, laughter and friendship.
Undoubtedly, his family upbringing was pure and loving.

Can not think of Kieth without smiling remembering so many funny moments working with him and his brother Jeff at Captain George's in the 90s. He and Jeff contributed so much in helping build that legendary restaurant into the success it is today. My deepest sympathy to thier Mother, Mrs Safewright, for the loss of her dear sons. Both gone way too soon. May they rest in peace.
