Kenneth Carbaugh Obituary

Kenneth R. Carbaugh, Jr., 63, of Richmond, VA died May 25, 2022. Ken was a Data Warehouse Developer for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the eldest son of Kenneth & Elizabeth Carbaugh. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed & Mary, John & Kim and Bill & Lauren, and his nephews and nieces Clayton, Edward, John Paul, Samuel, William, Caroline and Charlotte.

Born on November 20, 1958 at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Ken was a graduate of Cox H.S. and Virginia Commonwealth University. Ken was an avid sailor and loved sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. He cycled throughout Virginia, including several tours through the hills of the Skyline Drive. Ken had eclectic musical tastes with a fondness for jazz.

A funeral service will be held 11a.m. on Friday, June 10 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. Memorials in Ken's honor may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
