Kenneth McWhorter
Virginia Beach - Kenneth Ross McWhorter, 48, of Virginia Beach passed away on May 3, 2012. Formerly of Enon, Ohio, Kenneth was a BMC (SW/DV) in the U. S. Navy, retiring after 20 years of service. Survived by his wife Pearl and children, he was loved by his family and friends and had a great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Ken was a great guy and will be sorely missed. I remember him telling me as we were diving in the bay near MDSU "whats's that?" I said that is a commercial air craft. To which his reply was "No. That's a flying Salvage Project..." Your sense of humor and stories will be missed.
