Lance Cuffee Obituary
Norfolk - Private First Class, Lance D. Cuffee, 23, of the 2600 Block of Va. Beach Blvd. went to be with his heavenly Father on August 27. He was born September 7, 1990, the son of Larry D. Cuffee, Sr. and Joann F. Cuffee. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother; Elizabeth M. Foster and brother; Corey D. Cuffee. Lance was a member of Trinity Baptist Church Faith Diamond where Bishop O. L. Cromwell, II is pastor. He was a member of the 2008 graduating class of Norview Senior High School. Lance joined the United States Army in January 2013. He attended basic training at Fort Sill, OK, and advanced individual training at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Private First Class Lance D. Cuffee's awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and The Parachutist Badge. Lance leaves to cherish his memories his parents; Larry D. Cuffee, Sr. and Joann F. Cuffee, brothers; Lamont Stewart, II, Johnathan L. Stewart, Jeremy D. Cuffee and Larry D. Cuffee, Jr., paternal grandparents; Jessie Mae Cuffee and James E. Cuffee, Sr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at Community Funeral Home, 1210 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23504. The homegoing celebration will be Friday, September 5, 11am at Trinity Baptist Church Faith Diamond, 1023 Deep Creek Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23323. The Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, VA.(www.communityfh.com)

R.I.P Lance u were a true bestfriend I remember those days we shared in trinity we used follow each other and say our see ya laters until next Sunday but now can't even do that no more oh how I miss u so much I just wish u can return to me just to relive our good days love u lance keep watching over me

I never got the chance to meet you but I worked with your mother and she used to tell me how proud she was of you for joining the service and growing up to be a fine young man-I felt so close and connected through the pictures she had of you on her desk during your whole training process .
